UNAMERICAN: SOPA,Internet IP Protection and other Internet Censorship

Thought I’d make myself clear on my stand on the proposed SOPA and other Internet censorship bills that are being introduced and muled over in Congress.
For one: It’s NOT American and stands against the Constitution.
It takes away from our freedom of Speech and I bet a few more rights.
This legislation gives corporations and the government the ability to determine what information you can consume on the internet — a dangerous practice which, when committed by the Chinese and Iranian governments, is denounced by the American people and almost all of our elected representatives.
Internet companies including Google, Mozilla, Facebook, and Twitter, say that “the bills as drafted would expose law-abiding U.S. internet and technology companies to new uncertain liabilities, private rights of action, and technology mandates that would require monitoring of web sites.”
Any politician,Regardless of party affiliation that would even vote YES for this should be boycotted and voted out in 2012.
That’s as Plain and Simple as I can make it!
So far, President Obama has said he would veto any legislation like SOPA…
Then again, He also at one time said he was all for the Keystone Pipeline and we see what happened in that scenario didn’t we!
Tell your senators to protect our free and open internet and oppose the Protect IP Act!
Also, Let your congressmen know that laws like SOPA cannot be made into law.
Remind them that WE THE PEOPLE are watching and will vote them out if they vote for such laws..
Tell them to READ the BILL AND LISTEN to US!
This is not a Democrat v/s Republican thing, This is about your FREEDOM.
Simple suggestion: If it ain’t broke, Don’t fix it!
