So-Called Jobs Bill Heads to President’s Desk

As if the first stimulus did anything to help the economy, the second major stimulus is now ticketed to be signed within the next week. So should we all expect people to head back to work now, after all they just passed a “job’s” bill? Come to think about it when has government money not solved an economic problem? oh – you right, it’s never solved a problem.
Jobs will not go up in response to this. We told you after stimulus I, don’t expect any different now. The ideology behind the bill is fundamentally flawed. It dwells in the area increasing the size of government and those dependent on a government for funds. In order for growth to happen we must free up the economy so that permanent, self-sustaining growth can be promoted, not a temporary foundation-less bubble – which is all they are creating today.
The White House has already started playing damage control by reassuring people that the jobless rate will remain elevated for a long time. They keep asking for more patience, like somehow we will magically turn around while on the same fundamentally flawed road. You can’t oppose reality and hope to get a different result. They are preparing the public to just accept that this administration is working hard to fix this economy while it effectively does anything but bring about improvement.
I don’t know about all of you but I am really started to get sick of the line about the president inheriting all this mess. He in one year, has created a bigger mess than any other president in US history. His large deficits are even starting to dwarf Roosevelt’s in percentage of cost, scope, and particularly of most importance – violation of the constitution. Unfortunately the Dems are not the only ones to blame for passage of this bill seeing as it passed by an overwhelming majority in the senate. Many republicans crossed over to support this, which shows you how many truly are not representing you or the people’s interests.
